OnePlus 3 officially not scheduled to be revealed till June 15, the launch date. But according to Technobuffalo, the company twisted a blind sale, starting on June 6th, allowing up to 1,000 people to purchase the smartphone. They are not going to show buyers anything, but just the black box it comes with (as shown in teaser video). The catch is to trust OnePlus blindly, on sending you a good smartphone that’s worth your money.
Meanwhile, it hasn’t stopped online retailer Oppomart from showing us everything we need to know about the phone, with their early pre-listing.
The phone backside looks a lot like iPhone6 and HTC, as rumored in earlier leaks. Nevertheless, it looks much better than its predecessors. It appears the store would be retailing the device for $369 (INR 24,575) , which is a bit higher considering the company aims to sell high-quality phones at much lower prices.
The store listed following specs for OnePlus 3:
- 5-inch 1080p display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor w/ Adreno 530 GPU
- 4GB/6GB RAM (DDR4)
- 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage (UFS 2.0)
- 16MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with OIS / 8MP front facing camera
- Fingerprint scanner (front)
- 4G LTE-FDD multimode modem
- 3,650mAh battery w/ Quick Charge
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Oxygen OS)
Well, if that’s not enough check the following details mentioned by the ecom store that further confirms the complete hardware speculations as well.
It’s highly unlikely the store listing is fake, as the stuff like metal built body and processor matches to earlier images presented by TEENA – Chinese Regulatory Agency equivalent to China’s FCC.
Well, this certainly spoils the fun of buying OnePlus 3 ‘sight unseen’ experience for first 1000 people, potentially leaving nothing to imagine.
Disclaimer: Of course, none of the single detail is officially confirmed by any OnePlus official.
